Businesses and Hidden Taxes: A Transparent Tax System would help business lower administrative costs

Every business owner or manager knows (or should know) that it takes an investment of time and money to calculate and pay all of the various taxes that are part of what I am calling hidden taxes.

By ending these hidden taxes in favor of transparent taxes, then it seems reasonable that the process of keeping track of all the transparent taxes a business collects from its customers, (when the business sells taxable consumer goods), and then paying those transparent taxes regularly to government would be less complicated.

Those businesses that do not sell taxable consumer purchases, such as businesses that sell only at wholesale prices to other businesses would not have any transparent taxes to add and collect.  Currently, those same businesses are most likely not charging a sales tax in states like Washington State.  These businesses would no longer have any hidden taxes, and would therefore not have the expense of calculating and paying them.  They would no longer be hidden inside of the prices they charge for the merchandise they are selling wholesale to their retail business customers.

Thank you for taking time to read and ponder my opinion on this topic.
