I believe very strongly in this issue. I see how easy it is for people to get caught up in the hype surrounding the promotion of “good sounding” causes that only serve to promote more hidden taxes. Those same causes, if they really should be supported by public taxes, can also be supported using transparent taxes.

A website with the writings of David Kemper 1952-2014 For those he's left behind. While he had many thoughts and opinions all were expressed with the best interest of others in mind. He was a very caring person and if anyone is helped by his writings especially those on the subject of bullying then that is all he ever wanted.

Hidden vs Transparent Taxes: A Summary of the Points Made in This Series
1. In this series I will explain the important differences between hidden taxes and transparent taxes.
2. I will show why I believe a transparent tax system offers consumers a choice and why our current hidden tax system often includes no choice.
3. I will explain why I feel our current system of hidden taxes is hurting those members of our society who are faced with the challenge of trying to live on a much smaller income than the rest enjoy.
4. I will explain why I believe our current system of hidden taxes allows business to hide the cost of the taxes government requires them to pay inside the prices the rest of us are charged for the products, goods, and services we buy.
5. I will explain why hidden taxes means that we are actually paying the taxes government claims to require of business.
6. I will show how the food and grocery items purchased by the poorest members of our society include the cost of the hidden taxes that businesses are legally allowed to hide inside their prices.
7. I will show how changing from our current system of hidden taxes to transparent taxes can help to lower the cost consumers pay for many of the most important and basic items they need to purchase.
8. I will show how and why our system of hidden taxes can result in two households with identical gross incomes, identical dependents end up paying taxes at a different effective rate.
9. For those who have strongly held political beliefs and positions, I will show how it is possible to change from a hidden tax system to a transparent tax system without reducing the amount of actual tax dollars government would budget for and collect.
10. I will also show how doing this will allow government to have the potential of doing more with the same amount of tax revenues.
11. I will show why I believe it is important for my readers who like what I am proposing to share this with their family, friends, and especially with their elected officials.
Thank you for taking time to read and ponder my opinion on this topic.

Hidden vs Transparent Taxes: A Special Word for the Politically Motivated
Now, a word for those people and organizations with strongly held political beliefs and affiliations.
Hidden vs Transparent Taxes: What I Hope You Will Do
Throughout this series, I am only seeking to share what I believe to be important about the issue of hidden taxes, and why I believe the points I make are valid.
Hidden vs Transparent Taxes: What I’m Not Doing.
I know that there are people and groups who attempt to bypass elected law-making bodies by getting voters to sign petitions or otherwise gets laws changed in ways that are legal, but not always welcome. I am not using this series to bypass any elected law-making body.
Hidden vs Transparent Taxes: What I’m Going to Show You
In this series I will share what I believe to be the important differences between hidden taxes and transparent taxes. (See Part 2, Consumers and Hidden Taxes.) I will also share why I believe hidden taxes are hurting those members of our Society who are too often running out of money before they run out of month. (See Part 2, Consumers and Hidden Taxes; also see Part 5, Renters, Home Owners, and Hidden Taxes.)
I am also going to show how employees, those who work for someone else, are paying taxes twice, the first time when taxes are taken out of their paycheck. (For the second set of taxes employees pay, see Part 3, Employees and Hidden Taxes.)
I am also going to show how employees, those who work for someone else, are paying taxes twice, the first time when taxes are taken out of their paycheck. (For the second set of taxes employees pay, see Part 3, Employees and Hidden Taxes.)
Hidden vs Transparent Taxes: Some Things to Think About
Why should the lower income households in our society be tricked into paying taxes that businesses are legally allowed to hide inside of the prices they charge for the products, goods, and services the lower income members of our society depend on?
Hidden vs Transparent Taxes: Introduction
This is a series wherein I am daring to promote the idea that taxing system used here in the United States of America needs to change from its current form, (which I believe is too heavily dependent upon what I call Hidden Taxes, into a form that involves Transparent Taxes. As part of this 8-part series, I explain why I believe making this change will help the poorest and neediest members of our society.
