Transit Part 2: Hub Concept Routing

Dynamic Flexibility, as I have designed it into my program, is the key to making my program work.  I have taken steps to keep it simple in operation and effective in terms of goal-oriented accomplishments.

Transit Part 2: Tourist and Visitor Friendly Routing

Tourists, visitors, and out-of-town guests attending a business seminar generally are not all that familiar with where to go in a major metro area, or where to park at, and so forth.  While GPS devices and Apps are becoming more popular, they can also be a distraction while driving.  Any form of distracted driving is potentially dangerous, and creates potential frustrations for the driver.

Transit Part 2: Hub Concept as Adapted For My Program

In adapting this Hub Concept to my program, a county or metro area would be divided up into several local areas, each with its own Hub.  The design and operational details of the actual Hub facility itself will be detailed in later sections.

Transit Part 2: Hub Concept in Other Travel Industries

Within the travel industry as a whole we have airlines, bus lines, and to a smaller degree, passenger trains.  All three use a type of hub concept wherein passengers who desire to travel from point to point by way of their respective service must somehow get to the hub (or station or terminal) where they will board the train, plane or bus that will help them get to their destination.
