Hidden vs Transparent Taxes: What I Hope You Will Do

Throughout this series, I am only seeking to share what I believe to be important about the issue of hidden taxes, and why I believe the points I make are valid.
 I am not claiming to be any kind of expert or otherwise use any kind of facts meant to prove anything.  Everything you read in this series is my personal opinion.  The only exception will be when I use a valid source to help define a word, term, or phrase more accurately.

My hope after you read this series is that you will be motivated to start looking into this issue more.  I also hope that you will be motivated to talk with your friends, family, and elected officials.

When you seek to talk with your elected officials, I suggest that you consider starting with those elected to city and county government.  Most of us do not have easy or effective access to those who are elected to state or federal office in such a way as to actually have the chance of influencing how they vote.  Those who are elected to city and county positions are in a better position to influence state officials, and from there, influence federal officials.

If you feel to do this, I would appreciate if you would encourage others to also read this series.  In doing so you will be helping me spread the importance of this message.  You will also be setting the stage so that when you and others are talking, because you have given them a chance to read this series, it will be easier for you and them to start talking about this issue from the same potential understanding.  Whatever you decide to do, I want to thank you for sharing some of your valuable time with me.
