Government and Hidden Taxes: Hidden Taxes Effect Government Programs Which Assist the Poor

Government programs which assist the poor and needy, such as food, housing, or medical assistance, while paying for the cost of these basic necessities, must also currently include the increased costs resulting from hidden taxes.

With all hidden taxes (and the related markup effect) removed from the prices of stuff government programs currently help the poor and needy buy, then either the cost of those programs could go down and still help the same number of people buy the same amount of stuff, or more people could be helped using the same amount of program dollars.

Either way, ending hidden taxes would be of benefit to the poor and to tax payers whose tax dollars are helping the poor.

Thank you for taking time to read and ponder my opinion on this topic.
