Transit Part 9: Seeing Change as Positive

Companies and organizations must operate within a budget.  Even non-profit companies must at least bring in as much as they spend.
Change that isn’t based on good sound well-thought-out financial reasons will be resisted by most any manager or CEO who knows how to make and hold onto profits earned.

Because of these and other reasons, it is important to help companies that will be asked to cooperate with the development and implementation of my program in their service area to see how my program will help them to cut costs and increase revenues.

The managers of these companies are under the pressure mandated by section 223 of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 to provide services to a growing segment of the population.  They are under pressure from employees who are becoming more and more vocal about what they don’t like.  Helping managers to see how my program will help to at least reduce and in some cases eliminate some of these pressures will go a long way toward winning their active support.

The managers of these companies, because of their experience, will also offer a source of expertise that should be brought into the fine-tuning stage of developing my program into their service area.  Respect given will often result in respect received.  On the other hand, respect demanded will be seen as the “con job” it really is.  Demands foster demands, not respect, and for sure not cooperation.

Thank you for taking time to read my program.  Obviously, if I didn't believe in my own program, I would not have published it for others to read and ponder on.

Therefore, we must either CHANGE the way we live, or we bind our future to our past as if with CHAINS.
