Employees and Hidden Taxes: Introduction

In this third part, among other things, I show why I believe that employees are being taxed double, meaning employees are being taxed twice, with the second time being in the form of Hidden Taxes.

In this part of my series, and in part 4 which has a business focus, I also share why I believe our current practice of using Hidden Taxes is hurting employees and those who would like to get employed.

Topics discussed in this series:

Hidden Taxes from the employee point of view.
Hidden Payroll Taxes you don’t see on your paycheck
How Hidden Taxes effect employees.
Hidden Payroll Taxes lower employee take-home pay.
Hidden Taxes can hurt Employees.
Employees also pay the same Hidden Taxes all other consumers pay.
Hidden Taxes discriminate against Employees.
Employees pay Income Taxes on Gross Wages.
Businesses pays Income Taxes on Net Profit.
Transparent Taxes could give Employees an effective pay raise.
A Transparent Tax system would take no taxes out of Employee earnings.
Ending Hidden Taxes could result in an increase in take-home pay.
A Transparent Tax system could Increase Demand for food and other necessities.
Prices of food and other necessities could be lower under a Transparent Tax system.
Food and other basic necessities could be Exempt from having a Transparent Tax added.
All Consumers could buy more basic necessities.
A Transparent Tax system could Increase Demand for products of Export Businesses.
Prices of stuff made for export currently includes the cost of Hidden Taxes.
Removing these Hidden Taxes would allow prices of Export Products to be lower.
Lower prices would make Export Products more Price Competitive.
Extra jobs could be created by increased sales of export products.

Thank you for taking time to read and ponder my opinion on this topic.

Therefore, we must either CHANGE the way we live, or we bind our future to our past as if with CHAINS.
