Employees and Hidden Taxes: A Transparent Tax System Could Increase Demand for Food and Other Necessities

In the next few topic sections, (all numbered 6 + something), I am going to explain, in a few different but related ways, why a transparent tax system could result in an increased demand for food and other necessities.

Prices of food and other necessities could be lower under a Transparent Tax system.

With no hidden taxes built into the prices of food and other basic necessities, the prices of these items could be lower by the amount of the hidden taxes that would no longer be there.  This could result in lower prices for these basic necessities.  It would also create the potential for all of the stuff consumers buy to have lower prices.

Food and other basic necessities could be exempt from having a Transparent Tax added.

A transparent tax system designed by properly elected officials could be designed so that items like food and other basic necessities were exempt from having a transparent tax added.

In Washington State, where they have a transparent sales tax, food and certain other basic necessities are already exempt from have their sales tax added.

All Consumers could buy more basic necessities with the same dollars.

With prices of all the stuff consumers buy being lower without the effect of hidden taxes included, and with those employees having the potential for a larger taker-home pay for reasons I’ve already explained, the neediest members of society would have the potential to buy more of the basic necessities they need than they are currently able to.
Even those who are on some form of public assistance would be able to buy more with the same monthly amount of assistance.

Thank you for taking time to read and ponder my opinion on this topic.
