Transit Part 1: Main Program Features Summarized

My program will allow the para-transit industry to transport more passengers with the same number of drivers than the current system is capable of.  My program uses a very simple concept that will bring dynamically flexible routing into the para-transit industry.

This dynamic flexibility will allow the para-transit industry to more effectively address many of the frustrations experienced both by passengers and by those who work within this industry.  My program will also allow the para-transit industry to provide new transportation options and flexibility to ADA qualified passengers that the current industry routing concept simply will not allow.

For fixed route passengers, they will no longer be required to stand at a curb-side bus stop hoping the bus gets to them before the bad weather or the “bad person” gets them.  They will not have to be concerned about the occasional fixed route bus passing them by simply because it is full.  They won’t have to worry about whether or not they know where to “pull the cord” so as to make sure they get off at the closest stop.

My Same-Day Space-Available program will move ADA qualified para-transit passengers closer to having the same degree of spontaneous decision making ability that we who drive ourselves and fixed route passengers currently enjoy and most likely also take for granted.

The In-Route change of destination option of my program, to be implemented, requires effectively obtaining the cooperation of our customers and, where appropriate, their care providers.

Thank you for taking time to read my program.  Obviously, if I didn't believe in my own program, I would not have published it for others to read and ponder on.
