Transit Part 9: Summary of Customer Benefits

Upon successful implementation of my program to modernize and desegregate the public transportation industry:


Para-transit customers will be routed directly more often between origin and destination.

Para-transit customers will experience on-time pickup and delivery more often.

Para-transit customers will have the option to qualify for in-route change of destination.

Para-transit customers won’t have to wonder if the bus that just pulled up is there for them or not.  If a passenger has a scheduled ride and a bus pulls up, that bus will be able to take that passenger.  Only Space-Available passengers will experience the need to wait for another bus.

Current fixed route customers will no longer experience being passed up at curb-side by a full bus.

Current fixed route customers who are new to or just visiting an area will no longer have the stress associated with whether or not they are getting off at the correct stop.

Current fixed route passengers will no longer have potential trauma of waiting at a curb side bus stop hoping a bus gets there before something bad does.

All customers will have the option of making spontaneous or “last minute” trips by way of my Space-Available program.
